1. Introduction

1.1

Jobifinder (hereinafter "the Platform" or "we") is operated by a nonprofit civic association (Občianske združenie, OZ) registered in Slovakia with identification number IČO 55570160, headquartered at Muškátová 788/18, 821 01 Bratislava – mestská časť Ružinov.

1.2

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform and its services. By using the Platform, you accept these Terms in full and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1.3

The Platform's mission is strictly nonprofit: to connect individuals seeking employment with employers and organizations within the European Union, facilitate professional growth, and provide educational resources all at no charge.

3. User Eligibility and Account Creation

3.1 Eligibility

Access to the Platform is available to individuals seeking work, professionals, and organizations looking to connect with talent, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

3.2 Account Creation

You may be required to register by creating an account that includes personal, professional, and contact information. You agree that all information is accurate, current, and truthful.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted via your account. You agree to notify Jobifinder promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload or post (CVs, portfolios, projects, certifications, etc.) on the Platform ("Your Content").

4.2 License Grant

By uploading content, you grant Jobifinder a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote Your Content solely for providing and improving the Platform services and advancing our nonprofit mission.

4.3 Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that Your Content does not infringe third-party rights or applicable laws and that you have permissions for all content submitted.

4.4 Jobifinder Intellectual Property

All software, branding, graphics, content, and documentation created by or for Jobifinder are owned exclusively by the association and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Copying, modification, or distribution without explicit permission is prohibited.

5. Free Access and Service Use

5.1

The Platform, including all job matching, profile creation, portfolio showcasing, educational content, certifications, and communication tools, is provided completely free of charge.

5.2

No fees, commissions, or payments (either direct or indirect) are required or collected for use of any features or participation.

5.3

Jobifinder does not engage in, nor permit, any commercial transactions or monetary exchange between users on the Platform.

5.4

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access for users who attempt to violate the free-use policy or engage in prohibited commercial activities.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

6.1

Jobifinder processes personal data in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant Slovak laws.

6.2

We collect and use your personal information only to the extent necessary to operate the Platform and provide services.

6.3

Your data will never be sold, leased, or monetized for commercial profit.

6.4

You retain rights over your data and can request correction, deletion, or export in accordance with applicable laws.

6.5

Detailed privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Prohibited Uses and Conduct

7.1

You shall not use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.

7.2

Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: fraud, harassment, spam, unauthorized advertising, intellectual property infringement, and dissemination of harmful or illegal content.

7.3

Any violation may lead to immediate suspension or termination of your account and potential legal action.

8. Intellectual Property Rights and Content Removal

8.1

Jobifinder respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.

8.2

We provide mechanisms for copyright holders to notify us of alleged infringements.

8.3

Jobifinder reserves the right to remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms or applicable law without prior notice.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9.2

Jobifinder does not guarantee job placement, employment offers, or specific outcomes from using the service.

9.3

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobifinder disclaims all liability for any damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform.

9.4

Our liability, if any, shall be limited to direct damages up to the amount of any actual proven loss, excluding indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobifinder, its officers, employees, and agents against claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or infringement of others' rights.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by Slovak law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Slovak courts.

12. Amendments and Updates

Jobifinder may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
